DATES: June 19, July 31, and August 28
WHAT: Safe guided convoys with experienced ride leaders follow a fixed schedule and route and originate at locations throughout metro-Boston. All convoys finish at City Hall Plaza Boston.
Finish up with free breakfast, music and expo at City Hall Plaza. Join a convoy,
or just show for the fun up at City Hall Plaza.
And, July 31 and August 28 Bike Fridays are also Walk/Ride Days, a region-wide celebration of green transportation on the last Friday of every month! So, wear something green for the ride that day, check in at the Green Streets booth, and be rewarded by retailers across the region. http://www.gogreenstreets.org/.
SCHEDULE:
6:45 AM Meet with convoy.
7:00 AM Convoys depart.
7:30-8:30 AM Convoys finish at City Hall Plaza.
7:00-10:00 AM Free breakfast and expo.
LOCATION:
- Convoys: Locations include Boston, Newton, Brookline, Lexington, Arlington, Cambridge, Belmont, Watertown. See map below for all start and pick-up locations. Join the convoy at a start location, or at any point along the route. Police escorts only available within Boston.
